A roadside bomb hit a United Nations patrol belonging to the French Battalion

According to local sources, a roadside bomb hit a UN patrol belonging to the French Battalion on 26 July, wounding at least three peacekeepers. The blast occurred near the port city of Sidon, 40 kilometers south of Beirut. Initial reports said two vehicles belonging to the French Battalion were damaged in the blast.
